Can I just share my toothpaste with my dog?  Please DON'T! 

Toothpaste for people can be poisonous for dogs as they often include xylitol, a dangerous artificial sweetener and fluoride, a neurotoxicant that can cause brain and behavioral development issues.  Our Natural Toothpaste only includes the following:

- Organic Coconut Oil - a medium chain triglyceride known to have antibacterial and antifungal properties that can aid in keeping teeth clean, healthy and happy

- Diatomaceous Earth - food grade and great for gently scrubbing away tartar and plaque, also helps promote gut health 

- Cinnamon - helps with freshening breath and has anti-inflammatory properties 

Some separation as the toothpaste comes to room temperature is normal as there are no emulsifiers or preservatives, so be sure to store your Natural Toothpaste in a cool place like your refrigerator.  Just a pea sized amount on your finger, a washcloth or toothbrush per 20lbs of your pup is enough to clean their entire mouth.  Most dogs love the flavor but please remember this is toothpaste, not a treat and should be used no more then once a day.
